DSB 2027 will be held at Nouveau Siècle in Lille, France, on March 3-4, 2027.

How to participate

The call for abstracts will open in early November 2026.

As in previous editions, there will be no formal review process. While we aim to provide everyone with an opportunity to present, the organizers reserve the right to select talks from the submissions to ensure a diverse and engaging program.

Information about Lille

Travel. Lille is very well connected by train. High-speed trains arrive at the two central stations, Lille Europe and Lille Flandres, which are a few minutes’ walk from each other. Travel times are about 1 hour from Paris, 35 minutes from Brussels and 1h20 from London (Eurostar). If you are flying, there are several convenient options:

  • Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): direct TGV trains to Lille Europe in about 1 hour.
  • Brussels Airport (BRU): take a train to Brussels-Midi, then a high-speed train to Lille (about 35 minutes).
  • Lille Airport (LIL): a smaller airport with mostly domestic and some European flights, connected to the city centre by a shuttle bus.

Getting around Lille. The city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. Nouveau Siècle is right in the centre, next to the Rihour metro station and a few minutes’ walk from the Grand Place and both train stations. Lille also has an automated metro, trams and buses operated by Ilévia.
